In the spirit of giving thanks, we are truly thankful for the opportunity to work with our community partners and be part of creating a better and brighter future for those who live in this amazing place we call home. As we promote community events and share good news about economic development, job creation and educational programs throughout the South Sound each month, we hope to inspire a sense of gratitude for everything that makes our region such a great place to live and do business.

We are grateful for the opportunity to have supported the following programs this past year:

The People’s Gathering

The Center for Graduate and Continuing Education at Pacific Lutheran University holds an annual professional and personal development conference to help create a more culturally aware and inclusive community.

RAIN Incubator

RAIN Incubator is a non-profit, Life Science Innovation hub growing companies, jobs and talent for biotech industry growth in Tacoma. The organization’s iGEM team researches synthetic biology and competes with teams across the globe. The team recently traveled to Boston for iGEM2019 and returned with a Bronze medal and a special safety prize. It was an incredible experience for the students. Keep an eye out for students presentations later this year.

Children’s Museum of Tacoma

Honoring children and championing play, the Children’s Museum of Tacoma is shepherding a child-centered community movement dedicated to making Tacoma a better place to live for families.
